Abstract
Cauliflower production plays an important role in global agriculture. According to the latest data for 2022, China is the largest producer, with production reaching 9.66 megatons. This shows the achievements of China’s large-scale agriculture and technological innovation, and solidifies its position. Meanwhile, other countries are also working on cauliflower production, with India, the United States, and Spain being major producers. The trend so far has been that the demand for cauliflower is increasing worldwide, and its production is also on the rise. This is likely due to the growing health consciousness and the spread of diverse culinary culture. In addition, cauliflower is popular with many consumers because it is highly nutritious and can be cooked in a wide range of ways. The global cauliflower market is expected to continue to expand, and agricultural producers in each country will continue to work hard to meet the demand.
Cauliflower production (worldwide)
Looking at data from 1961 to 2022, cauliflower production has increased in many countries. Of particular note is China’s production, which reached a record 9.83 megatons in 2015. Since then, China’s production has declined slightly and is currently at 98.2% of its peak. This decline may be due to changes in China’s agricultural structure and changes in the market supply and demand balance. Meanwhile, cauliflower production is also increasing in other countries, and efforts are continuing to meet global demand. Cauliflower is supported by an increasing health consciousness and demand for diverse dishes, and these factors have contributed to the increase in production. Advances in agricultural technology and the introduction of sustainable production methods have also contributed to the increase in production. The global cauliflower market is expected to continue to grow, but countries will need to continue making efforts to adapt to environmental concerns and changing market needs.

Cauliflower production (latest year, countries around the world)
The world’s agricultural crop cauliflower production in 2022 recorded the highest overall with 9.66 megatons in China. This shows that China is the main center of cauliflower production in the world. The average production was 266 kilotons, with a total of 26.1 megatons of cauliflower produced. A notable feature so far is the growing demand for cauliflower worldwide. This is influenced by an increasing health consciousness and diverse food culture. Another factor is the increase in cauliflower production due to the development of agricultural technology and the development of production infrastructure in China. Other countries are also working on cauliflower production, which is increasing the overall global supply. In the future, it will be important to introduce sustainable agricultural practices and adapt to climate change. This will stabilize cauliflower production and allow it to adequately meet demand.

Cauliflower production (continent)
Asia recorded the highest overall cauliflower production in 2022 at 21.1 megatons. This figure exceeds past data and indicates that Asia is the main producer of cauliflower. Behind this trend is the improvement of agricultural productivity in Asian countries and the expansion of demand for cauliflower. Due to increasing health consciousness and diversification of food culture, cauliflower has become popular around the world. Advances in agricultural technology and improved cultivation methods are also contributing to the increase in cauliflower production in Asia. Cauliflower production is increasing in other regions as well, but Asia is the epicenter. In the future, the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices and adaptation to climate change will become increasingly important. This is expected to stabilize cauliflower production in Asia and fully meet demand.

Cauliflower production (latest year, continent)
Asia recorded the highest overall production of cauliflower in 2022, at 21.1 megatons. This figure exceeds past data and shows that Asia is the main producer of cauliflower. Meanwhile, the average global production is 4.34 megatons, with Asia accounting for the majority of production. Behind this trend is the improvement of agricultural productivity in Asian countries and the expansion of demand for cauliflower. Cauliflower is popular around the world due to the growing health consciousness and diverse culinary culture. Therefore, it is believed that Asian countries are actively producing it to meet the demand. Cauliflower production is increasing in other regions as well, but Asia is the center of it. In the future, the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices and adaptation to climate change will become increasingly important. This is expected to stabilize cauliflower production in Asia and fully meet demand.
