Corporate management plays an important role in agricultural production in Japan. In Hokkaido, large amounts of wheat, potatoes, and beets are produced through corporate management, supporting demand across the country. Corporate management in the Tohoku region is centered on the production of rice, soybeans, and buckwheat, and is characterized by high quality crops. The Kanto and Chubu regions produce a lot of vegetables, especially cabbage, lettuce, and tomatoes, and have a large supply of these. In the Kyushu region, corporate management supports the mass production of fruits and sweet potatoes, contributing to the local economy. Efficient production is being promoted by taking advantage of the unique characteristics of each region.
