Annual average price per cwt of crops at United States

United States

In American agriculture, some crops are measured in cental weight (cwt). In particular, potatoes and beans are often measured in cwt, and these crops are grown primarily in the Midwestern and Western states. Annual production can reach hundreds of millions of cwt; for example, potatoes are primarily produced in Idaho and Washington states. These crops are widely used for food, processed products and animal feed and occupy an important position in the agricultural economy.
