Fruit Production at world countries

World agriculture

Global fruit production is diverse, with the major producing countries being China, India, Brazil and the United States. China is the largest producer of many fruits, including apples, citrus fruits and grapes. In tropical regions, bananas, mangoes and pineapples are the main crops, while in temperate regions apples, grapes and berries are produced in large quantities. Fruit production is highly dependent on climatic conditions and extreme weather events can affect the harvest. Technological innovation and improved varieties have led to improved yields and quality. Demand is also increasing due to growing health consciousness.
