Tropical fruit production at world countries

World agriculture

Tropical fruit production occurs mainly in tropical regions, with major fruits including bananas, pineapples and mangoes. These fruits are highly nutritious and play an important role in the world’s food supply. The main producing countries are Ecuador, the Philippines, Colombia and Brazil. The tropical climate is ideal for growing fruit, allowing for a stable supply throughout the year. However, because it is susceptible to climate change and natural disasters, harvest yields are subject to certain fluctuations. Tropical fruits are widely consumed around the world, with bananas being one of the most widely traded fruits.
