Abstract
Corn oil production is one of the important factors in world agriculture. According to 2021 data, the United States is the largest producer, achieving a production of 1.03 Mt. Considering the trends to date, the United States is the leading producer of corn oil and has maintained its position. This increase in production is likely due to factors such as advances in agricultural technology and growing demand. In addition, corn oil is widely used in a variety of products, from food to industrial products, and its high demand is also a factor supporting production. In the future, corn oil production is likely to increase further as global demand for food and biofuels increase.
Corn oil production (worldwide)
Corn oil production has seen remarkable growth over the past few decades. Looking at data from 1961 to 2021, the United States is the overwhelming producer, reaching a peak of 1.71 Mt in 2018. However, the trend since then has been downward. Compared to the peak, current production is 60.6%, with a significant decrease in production. Factors behind this decrease include technological innovation in agriculture and changes in demand. On the other hand, other countries are playing an active role in corn oil production, shifting the balance of global production. Furthermore, despite the decrease in production, corn oil remains in high demand because it plays an important role in a wide range of applications, including food and industrial products. Considering these factors, it is expected that future production trends will be influenced by advances in agricultural technology and changes in demand.

Corn oil production (latest year, world)
The corn oil market in global agriculture continues to occupy an important position in 2021. The United States is the largest producer, recording a production volume of 1.03 Mt, accounting for about 35% of the total. The average price is 52 kt, and the total market size reaches 2.91 Mt. A notable feature so far is that the United States is the main producer. On the other hand, production and demand in various countries around the world are diversifying, and the market size is expanding. The diversification of demand indicates that corn oil is being used for a wide range of purposes, from food to industrial products. Furthermore, the average market price is 52 kt, suggesting that a balance between supply and demand is being maintained. In the future, the corn oil market is likely to continue to grow as global demand for food and biofuels expands.

Corn oil production (continent)
Looking at data from 1961 to 2021, corn oil production has grown steadily. In particular, North America peaked in 2018 with a record production of 1.77 Mt. However, the trend since then has been downward. North America’s current production has fallen to 62% of its peak. This decline is likely due to factors such as changes in agricultural technology and demand. Meanwhile, other regions and countries also play an active role in corn oil production, and overall global production has remained stable despite the decline in North America. In addition, corn oil remains an important part of global agriculture due to growing demand and diversifying uses. Considering these factors, we may see further changes in corn oil production in the future due to advances in agricultural technology and changes in demand.

Corn oil production (latest year, continental)
According to 2021 data, North America recorded the highest global corn oil production at 1.1 Mt, with an average of 479 kt, and a total production of 2.87 Mt. These figures make it clear that North America is the leading region in global corn oil production. In particular, North America’s production accounts for approximately 38% of the total. In addition, the relatively high average production suggests that some regions and countries are engaged in large-scale production. A trend to date is that while global corn oil production has remained stable, there have been fluctuations in production volumes from region to region due to changes in demand and developments in agricultural technology. In addition, since corn oil production is used for a wide range of purposes, from food to industrial products, increases and decreases in demand and the development of new uses may affect production volumes. Considering the increasing demand for food in the world and the growing demand for biofuels, corn oil production will continue to attract attention in the future.
